This tiny store is packed full of the label’s signature bandage dresses. The space is small but so are the dresses so they manage to house all the classic styles plus the latest, straight off the runway designs. The seasonal styles are usually upfront on the left hand side of the store with the basics falling in towards the back. If there’s something on sale, and we are happy to say, there often is, it will be on the right towards the back.

Any store featuring $200 key chains and bookmarks should not be ventured into casually. And we might actually follow this advice if browsing at Hermes wasn’t also so much fun. The scarves alone could occupy the better part of an hour, and they seem to have trained the staff to unfold them with a special dramatic sweep that leaves them fluttering slowly down to the counter where you can carefully examine and compare the various patterns and colors.

Etro is the place to come for prints. As the bright orange and purple rug indicates this is not a store for neutrals. No, everything you’ll find at Etro’s Rodeo boutique is bold and bright. Even the curtains on the dressing rooms – a multi-colored stripe – grab your attention. The store, made up of two rooms, with men’s up front and women’s in back is not huge, but it is packed.

Hidden from the street behind, tucked away behind Theory, this secret little store is our dream come true. We love Helmut Lang but department stores only seem to care a few random pieces each season and we always feel al bit cheated. Luckily, the Melrose store has each seasons line up plus a stock of the lines great denim and tees.

Since it’s launch in 2004 Paige Premium Denim’s classic cuts have had denim lovers drooling over the line’s super flattering fits. Based in LA, Paige instantly won us over by naming their signature cuts after local neighborhoods.

Everyone knows the Revolve website stocks nearly every brand your ever heard of and generally has the latest designer good a few weeks before you know you want them. We love them for their scope and foresight and so of course we were thrilled to hear that Melrose was getting the site’s first (and so far only) brick and mortar store.

So technically this is a men’s shop but the styling and merchandising of the whole store are so amazing we always stop in and kind of want to move in. The merchandise ranges from biker to western, all with a great vintage feel.

Yesssss! Paul & Joe is finally here! And we don’t just mean in LA, this is the first store in the US. Woohoo – we love it when we beat New York! Because this is the sole stateside outpost, they’ve been kind enough to stock all of the Paul & Joe lines. That means the Robertson outpost carries the signature line, Paul & Joe Sister, Pierre Cardin for Paul & Joe, plus Little Paul & Joe, Paul and Joe Beaute and the men’s collection. The shop is in a word, delightful.
